1982 “A dream is Born” – After 7 years of working as a licensed mechanic Roy Hinbest purchased a small industrial building north of Orangeville and began the daunting task of operating his own automotive repair facility. Roy’s Service Centre is born. With 2 repair bays and gas pumps out front, Roy worked day and night to keep the business up and running. Through providing quality, honest service Roy’s Service Centre’s clientele began to grow quickly.

1996 “Re-focusing” – As Roy’s neared their 15th anniversary they decided to shift their focus 100% to repair service. The gas pumps were removed.

1997 “Family Values” – As Roy’s family began to grow and his 4 sons aged, he began to involve them in his business. By introducing them to a working life he taught them the same morals and values that have kept his business so successful. His sons began to realize the true meaning of hard work. Through it all Roy never stopped preaching the value of education and focused his sons on making academic achievements as they grew.
